’Twas the Night Before Christmas (A Visit to MTR)

’Twas the night before Christmas, in my office in my house
My screensaver wasn’t stirring, neither was my mouse.
My tasks were completed in Asana with care,
In hopes that 5-star reviews soon would be there.

My teammates were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of ROI metrics danced in their heads.
And Christina in her 'kerchief, and Michael in his cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,

When on our video call, there arose such a clatter,
I checked my emails: both IL and MTR.
Away to Slack, I flew like a flash,
tore open the browser, cleared cookies and cache.

No spammy emails or social media mentions,
No clients requesting payment extensions.
Yet a glorious giphy to my wondering eyes did appear,
of a dancing ViB and eight tiny reindeer.

With Cesar as driver, so hungry and slick,
I knew in a moment it must be St. Nick.
More rapid than deadlines, marketers they came,
and he whistled and shouted and called them by name:

“Now Jess! Now Yuri! Now, Loreyne and Duncan!
On, Misty! On Pawan! On, Marga and Sercan!
To the top of the SERPs! Stop the turning beach ball!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"

With marketing strategies that make inbound leads fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
So up to the house-top the numbers they flew,
With the sleigh full of content, and St. Nicholas too.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard it loud and clear,
Wishes for all of team MTR for the coming year.
First, health for you and your families all year round,
Exciting projects, new clients, and successes abound.

“Deliver great value,” they sang it again,
“OnPoint, Evolv, Ossia, and Pen!”
Learn from the failures, make sure clients are well,
The best clients come back like I-N-T-L.
