MTR Marketing team members are 100% remote and currently have team members in over 20 cultures and countries. You can work from home or wherever you want providing you're available when your team needs to collaborate. We do not require you to warm your seat from 9-5 and offer the perfect positions for people who love what they do but want to do it in a part-time, flexible remote work capacity.

Inbound Marketing Operations (MOPS)

You are a leader who cares about the organization and your client's goals and proactively helps other people to achieve them. You communicate openly and transparently and live by the philosophy “your success is my success,” with the client, team, and management. You are assertive but empathic and pragmatic. You understand the importance of being a part of a team, and you see problems as challenges to be overcome, together. You have an excellent understanding of client care. Accountability is not a loose term for you.

Primary Responsibility

Executing inbound and content marketing activities to deliver projects/deliverables within the agreed-upon budget and timeframe at the highest quality standards. Tasks may include tactics like uploading blog posts and emails, social media, marketing, SEO and marketing automation, and more. You may also be responsible for analyzing marketing data and creating reports.

General Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients and team members regularly via Slack.
  • Work with a team to execute inbound marketing tactics - often in HubSpot, including blogging, social media marketing, search engine optimization, e-book/white paper/video content creation, website updates, email marketing, and others.
  • Become a HubSpot and marketing automation pro and keep up with software updates and best practices
  • Project coordination using our project management system for a team of inbound strategists, content creators, developers, and designers to execute campaign deliverables.
  • Stay informed about inbound marketing industry developments.
  • Compile data for client reporting.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Compensation

This position is a 1099 Independent Contractor Inbound Marketing Manager position. You will be required to sign an Independent sales agent agreement.

Content Marketer

As a Content Marketer, you are responsible to ensure our clients get the highest caliber of content deliverables. From website narratives to blog posts, e-books, email campaigns, and more, you will own content projects from research, interviews (when needed), content development, and editing. You adhere to best practices and readily take on the tone and voice of the client. Topics and personas range as broadly as our client roster: technology, healthcare, manufacturing, coaching, education, and much more.

You are the leader who ensures we tell compelling, engaging stories that deliver value to target personas and results to clients.

Strategic

  • Enhance our proven method of content marketing.
  • Provide feedback on processes, KPIs, and collateral.

Tactical

  • Develop and execute content marketing that drives results for our clients, including traffic, leads, qualifications, and sales.
  • Work with internal and external influencers, partners, and subject matter experts to define key messages.
  • Write and edit original pieces of content, including emails, web copy, blog posts, ebooks, video scripts, infographics, landing pages, and sales enablement collateral.
  • Write clean, concise, well-polished copy.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and customer challenges.
  • Work efficiently and communicate effectively.

Results (Expected Accomplishments)

  • Content requires minimal editing and adheres to briefs and task descriptions.
  • Deadlines and budgets are met (and exceeded!) and quality is always top-notch.
  • Clients are satisfied with deliverables.

Compensation

This position is a 1099 Independent Contractor Content Marketer position, in which work is tracked and time is compensated at an hourly rate, between $40-60 per hour. You will be required to sign an Independent sales agent agreement.

Consultative Sales

This is a consultative sales position. As a Marketing Solutions Consultant, you are responsible to ensure our leads get a consultation of the highest caliber which helps them understand their pain points, suggests possible solutions, and helps them understand the benefits of each. In cases where such consultations lead to a proposal of our solutions and services, you will own the process end-to-end, involve specialists, create plans, nurture and build relationships, and foster buy-in.

You are the leader who ensures we deliver value to our leads. You are accountable for ensuring that prospects who match our ideal persona and company profile are offered the services that can make the most impact to them. Your main areas of responsibility are: prospect-centric consultations, plan customization, and presentation.

Strategic

  • Enhance our proven method of consultative sales.
  • Provide feedback on marketing processes, KPIs, and collateral that lead up to consulting, and service delivery processes that follow it.

Consulting

  • Make prospects feel heard and understood by actively listening, documenting, and suggesting solutions that address their needs.
  • Involve the specialists that can best contribute given each case.
  • Create a plan to deliver ROI, present it, welcome questions, and remain involved.
  • Nurture and build relationships by communicating openly, empathizing, explaining, educating, and enabling.
  • Get buy-in and hand off a tight package to the service delivery team for execution.
  • Hiring - as the company growth goals are achieved, identify the right time to expand the consulting team and serve as hiring manager.  

Tactical

  • Monitor, quantify, and report on progress toward goals.
  • Enlist team members and/or outside consultants to assist in fulfilling plans.

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)

SCHEDULE

  • Flexible working schedule, but must be available during US business hours, Monday through Friday. While this position is commission-based and not hourly, it is expected to require 30-40 weekly hours.
  • At first, you will be a one-person-show, setting goals and developing achievable timelines to hit them - ruthlessly prioritizing competing initiatives to focus on what matters. Once we scale, you will lead others in doing the same.
